The side panels are usually wider than the cabinet itself. This is to cover the carcass, the thickness of the front plus a few mm to be able to adapt the side panel to the wall/floor which often turns to be uneven. When using a hanging rail, the side does not necessarily cover the full thickness of the front.

The side panels are delivered in standard dimensions while the fronts vary in thickness depending on the design. Please contact us if you would like to order other dimensions than what is in our range.

Side panel fits Ikea Pax wardrobe-range

Sides are cover panels used on the sides of the wardrobe frames. The purpose of the panels is to give the design a comprehensive and coherent expression. It is therefore also natural to choose the same colour on the side panels as on the fronts. Linoleum Basic side panels are 14 mm thick and come in the same design as the fronts.

If you want side panels with the entire surface in oak veneer, it can be combined with sides from the Nordic series in oak. These side panels will also be stained instead of covered with clear lacquer.

Should you require side panels in sizes not found in the standard selection, it is common practice to order panels one size bigger and then cut down to size. The side panels can also be used for other purposes such as shelves and furnishings to name a few.

The plinth is the cover used to hide the opening between the wardrobe and the floor. The covers are made of 18 mm water resistant MDF and are treated with the same durable paint as rest of your fronts. The plinths come with clips and screws and are available in three lengths: 50, 75, and 100 cm. The plinth is 7cm wide.

Noremax plinth is replacing the original IKEA plinth. This means the small pieces of the original wardrobe sides will be exposed. You can check the actual plinth length under the blue question mark next to the product.

You can either order our 4cm longer (at the bottom) door to cover most of the plinth or you can paint the exposed sides with our 100ml paint jar that can be purchased with your doors.

Linoleum is a finished natural material with a matte surface therefore there is no option to choose degree of gloss for this design.

  • Select desired linoleum colour

    Select desired surface treatment

The Linoleum collection is made of oak veneer that can be stained instead of just treating the surface with oil. Stains are pigments that penetrate the wood so that it becomes through-colored and the wood structure appears more or less depending on the chosen colour (on dark colours there will be less colour difference). Veinsand pores often become darker and the wood's natural shades appear.

Check the box for the stain colour you want. Note that the colours may be shown differently on the screen than in real life.

Screws are not included with the side panels, so we recommend using ordinary mounting screws purchased separately or from us.

Linoleum – Circle wardrobe doors to Pax

Linoleum Circle is an environmentally friendly choice of fronts, free from traces of fingermarks. Linoleum Circle fronts have aesthetically and comfortably designed circular grips that eliminate the need to think about protruding handles! The Pax wardrobe range is known for its flexible storage possibilities and together with door fronts and side panels in Linoleum, this becomes a flawless wardrobe with a detailed sophistication in the form of circular handles in oak veneer. Noremax selection of PAX IKEA doors in Linoleum Circle is available in 20 selected colours. Noremax bespoke doors are delivered to you ready to be mounted directly on your Pax wardrobe. The best part is that you do not have to throw away the wardrobe, just replace the old doors with new linoleum doors in a modern colour or add them to your new PAX wardrobe frame. Whether you choose the same colour as the walls for a discreet look or if you are looking for a maximalist expression, Linoleum is a sustainable and environmentally friendly choice of interior design. Pax Linoleum Circle can be integrated with many different styles and fits just as well in the bedroom as in the office.

With 20 different colours to choose from, this wardrobe is not only environmentally friendly but incredibly versatile in its stylish design and therefore fits well with all kinds of interior designs. The natural material is not only nice to look at, but it is also soft and comfortable to the touch, without leaving traces of fingermarks. Pax wardrobe series allows you to design your storage just the way you want it while Noremax doors give you the possibility of a unique design where the design is innovative, stylish and timeless.

When you go for Pax Linoleum Circle wardrobe fronts, you have a few options for the aesthetic aspect:

  • Oak veneer is treated with oil – but you can choose from different stains if you want a different expression than the natural oak. By choosing stains 15% an additional charge will apply.
  • Linoleum is available in 20 different colours – If you want to add physical handles, we can also offer Linoleum Basic
  • Gloss level choice is not available for linoleum or oak. Linoleum is produced with a matte surface and the oak veneer is stained.

The linoleum does not require much maintenance but can be treated with Forbo Monel regularly. If the surfaces have become stained, a neutral cleaning agent such as Forbo Cleaner can be used. You can read more about cleaning and maintenance here.
The oak veneer itself is maintained using Osmo Hardwax oil quarterly.

Sharp objects can scratch the surface, and if you are unlucky to spill coffee, tea or red wine, stains should be removed immediately to avoid penetrating the linoleum.

Linoleum is a natural material and in bright colours, nuance differences can occur.

Why choose Linoleum Circle?

The matte surfaces are resistant to stains and not least fingermarks. Linoleum Circle has an innovative, circular oak veneer grip integrated into the doors. If you prefer doors with physical handles, we can instead offer Linoleum Basic doors. With a four-year warranty on all our products, you will not regret the choice of the durable Linoleum collection. With 20 different colours to choose from, they fit into all kinds of homes and furnishings.

Our prices are reasonable but without compromising on quality, allowing our customers to get a dream home! Upgrade your bedroom or children’s room by replacing the IKEA doors of your existing Pax wardrobe with Noremax doors.
