Bespoke wardrobe doors – revamping IKEA PAX wardrobe simple as never

Depending on the individual’s character and preferences, different rooms in the house or its elements have a specific meaning for each of us. Those who love to cook and host guests will surely put great importance on the decor and usability of the kitchen and dining room. For some, an essential part of the day is to relax in the evening in front of a TV set or game console – such people will undoubtedly make sure to have a comfortable couch and a relaxing space. For some, on the other hand, the most important place in the house is the wardrobe – a place where they can keep their clothes, accessories, jewellery, fancy goods or shoes. Then the wardrobe simply cannot be just big – it must also have a properly designed inside and must fit into the rest of the room where it is located so that it really looks good. All that, without leaving home, can be done easily and efficiently with the IKEA PAX planner. But the IKEA range is quite limited in terms of the available door design and colours. The same goes for knobs and handles. Using Noremax gives you completely unmatched opportunities to design your own wardrobe. Therefore, it is good to design, first the PAX wardrobe using the PAX planner and then take care of the visual finish with Noremax bespoke wardrobe doors as well as knobs and handles, which offers completely new possibilities. Of course, using Noremax is also great for those who already have an IKEA PAX wardrobe and can now quickly and easily replace its doors or IKEA handles with completely new and different ones, with an outstanding result.

A new dimension of bespoke wardrobes

Noremax produces bespoke wardrobe doors that are fully compatible with IKEA PAX. The range allows you to create your own bespoke wardrobe doors, and thus to truly design your own wardrobe. To achieve this, the client only has to decide which of the eleven available models suits him best and then choose the colour and gloss.

With Noremax, you can choose any colour providing you have Natural Colour System or Farrow&Ball or Jotun colour codes. You can also choose one of three types of finish – matte, satin or semi-gloss, which also has a large impact on the final reception of the selected colour. Together, this gives practically unlimited possibilities to match the wardrobe with the rest of the interior and favourite style – whether it is glamour, industrial or Scandinavian. By using the possibilities offered by Noremax, wardrobes can be subtle and discreet, or on the contrary, they can catch everyone’s eye immediately.

Both of these expectations can already be met by the Basic door model, which, thanks to its simple and smooth design, allows the colour and gloss to play first fiddle. The Basic model should be approached like a clean sheet of paper, with which you can do whatever you want to do – make the wardrobe invisible and be a part of a background or create a modern, flashy piece of furniture using the semi-gloss finish and vivid colour. Of course, you can also add a knob or handle to give the wardrobe an extra touch.

Circle and Nordic models are a continuation of the Basic concept. In the case of Circle, designers have introduced a subtle, circular handle, which not only affects the visual perception of the wardrobe. It should also appeal to all those who do not want to mount a knob or handle but also do not want to use a push opener. Nordic, on the other hand, is a model that differs from Basic with its ash veneer, thanks to which, regardless of the colour used, the beautiful texture of the wood is visible on the door. With this model, the client can also, if he wants to get an effect closer to natural, use only clear paint on top with or without stain. It is definitely a proposal for fans of Scandinavian style and nature lovers.

The Classic, Classic Max and Classic Style bespoke wardrobe doors, as the name suggests, are aimed at enthusiasts of more conservative, classic designs. Those type of doors is defined by the characteristic 7 cm frame on the panel, which differs from one model to another. In the case of Classic and Style it is a unified frame with an angle to the panel of 45 and 90 degrees respectively. The Classic Max frame is also at an angle of 45 degrees, but there is an additionally bevelled panel. In addition, this model, like the Nordic, also uses ash wood (frame) and ash veneer (panel). In this case, too, the client can limit himself to using only clear paint (alternatively with a stain). Of course, any colour can also be used, as in all other models.

Noremax also has designer door models offering a variety of grab bars, grips and finger pulls. These are models: Elegance, Ontime, Escape, Moon and Empire. Each of them offers an original and modern design. For example, Moon has a very characteristic large circular handles. Empire, in turn, is a futuristic and noble design, which will look great in a modern bedroom. Escape and Ontime are more discreet, while Elegance offers users beautiful and stylish finger pulls in the shape of an elongated, vertically arranged rhombus.

Most Noremax door models dedicated to IKEA PAX wardrobes give the option to open and close without the need for mounting handles. However, clients may (due to convenience, habit or aesthetic reasons) decide to mount them. In this case, the IKEA range is not the only option. In this respect, Noremax also offers clients a wide and varied range of choices. For bespoke wardrobe doors dedicated to the IKEA PAX system, Noremax has more than 20 different knobs and handles in different sizes and made of different materials (metal, wood and even leather).
