Material: HDF treated with clear lacquer on top

Painted fronts are treated with two-component acid curing lacquer from Akzo Nobel. When choosing fronts spray-painted in solid color, it is important to note that the color is ordered on prescription for color match. The result depends mainly on the material and method of application, but also what kind of product being used in relation to shade and gloss. This entails that painted fronts from Noremax will not necessarily look the same as other surfaces painted in the same color with a different product.

Akzo Nobel standard paint is an industrial paint that is less resistant to scratches and chipping, and less water-resistant. Polyurethane paint is an industrial paint that is more durable, more waterproof, more scratch resistant, and easier to maintain and clean.

Engraved replacement fronts for IKEA Metod Kitchen

Our newest design Pure Skyline consists of slatted fronts made of the durable material HDF, which is a high-density fiberboard. If you prefer something new for your IKEA Metod kitchen, this design can also be combined with Nordic Skyline with veneered MDF, in either ash or oak.

The Pure collection is no different, consisting of numerous designs manufactured in an authentic material such as HDF. The Skyline pattern is engraved on the surface of the front. The individual bars are 22,70 mm wide and placed with a distance of 2,7mm. Every row is 2mm deep and creates a perfect shadow line.

To the fans of the industrial loft style, the raw surface of the slatted HDF design will add the boldness you are opting for. Mix and match with other statement materials such as framed doors in black steel, concrete flooring and wood details to create the optimal industrial design.
