Why Should You Buy Noremax Products?
As you may not know, before we were known as Noremax, we were called “Norsk Kjøkken Produksjon” and started operations in 2011 in Norway. We were involved in the production of kitchens from A-Z. They were mainly customized kitchens, often also for a number of well-known architects projects. We also sold kitchen counters, home appliances, fittings such as sinks and taps. In short, we offered a full service from drawings and technical planning to productions, delivery and the assembly of the brand-new furniture.
Following this success, a new Noremax concept was born in January 2018 that was set to make big changes in the company.
Our goal was to create products that would be “sustainable” and easily available, while at the same time covering the needs of individuality and originality. We have stuck true to this vision, creating high-quality products with the finish that our customers deserve.
Supporting IKEA products
Since 2018, we have created fronts for some of the most popular kitchen cabinets around the world – IKEA. Since then, we have begun to expand with operations in the UK, Holland and Sweden and are looking to expand even further in the coming years to provide high-quality products to a much larger target market.
Due to the vast amount of interest that we received for the products that we are creating, we still produce kitchen fronts for Faktum kitchen cabinets that have already been manufactured from IKEA.
We pride ourselves on providing our customers with the options needed to add a personal touch to any IKEA cabinet. With a wide range of colours as well as a multitude of styles and additional furnishings such as handles to choose from, we give our customers the freedom to make any space look exactly as they intended without having to purchase a completely new kitchen.
When changing the fronts and side panels in the selected design, colour and gloss level, we extend the life of your kitchen and at the same time contribute to the protection of the environment due to all our cupboard fronts being specially manufactured from sustainable materials.
By offering kitchen fronts in almost all possible colours here at Noremax, we provide a custom design for everyone allowing your own interior design vision to come to life. By offering this there is no question of boredom or mass repetition creating a custom experience for each one of our customers.
Our fronts are made of bamboo, ash veneer, ash wood and mainly painted MDF allowing you to have the perfect look for your home with sustainable materials. Regardless of the colour theme, you opt for our fronts and furnishings can help you to add the finishing touches to any space helping you to make your house a home.
Each material that we use has its advantages and disadvantages. The advantage of painted MDF fronts is the infinite choice of colours. The product is created individually on a customer’s order in the hand-painted colour of his choice. We provide you with the option to choose your colour theme from the National Colour System, Jotune or Farrow&Ball options giving you the perfect finish whether you opt for gloss or matte regardless of the colour.
If you want to change the colour, there is always the possibility of re-painting, which will extend the lifetime of our furniture again. We will help you every step of the way to provide you with the finish you want every time.
Why Choose Our Ash Wood Products?
When choosing a wood for your cupboards Ash wood is strong, durable and generally light in colour. It is course but the grain is fairly straight. As a result of its strength and durability, ash wood has an array of uses but is commonly used in the making furniture.
Ashwood is smooth in touch the same as hard as oak due to the high content of spacious. This can be made in the Metod Classic Max design or fronts for your Pax Wardrobe making this a versatile material for you and your home.
Additionally, the light nature of the wood allows for easy painting as well as natural light into the space. In addition to this Ash can be cleaned by wiping with a soft damp cloth and making it perfect for a kitchen space as it can be cleaned with ease.
What Does Ash Veneer Mean?
In woodworking, veneer refers to thin slices of wood, usually thinner than 3 mm (1/8 inch), that typically are glued onto core panels like wood or MDF to produce flat panels such as panels for cabinets. The same as ash wood, ash veneer can be stained or painted to cater to your specific colour theme. Also, it can be covered with a clear coat to give a natural wood effect should the customer want it at a much cheaper cost than the real wood. This is an option for those that are on a restricted budget as this will typically cheaper than solid oak wood.
Why Not Try Our Bamboo Products?
Bamboo is actually harder and more durable than oak wood – the gold standard when it comes to hardwood furniture! Due to this, bamboo isn’t cheap, but it will cost you less than most comparable furniture made from big-name hardwoods such as oak, maple, and cherry.
Bamboo can be processed mechanically and chemically – each method providing varying physical attributes and socio-ecological footprints allowing for an all-natural kitchen space that looks outstanding and is beneficial for your home.
One of the benefits of the laminated strip construction of bamboo wood is that there is less swelling and shrinkage than solid wood panels allowing you to have the look you need without the contraction of the natural wood.
Why Bamboo Is Eco-Friendly?
Bamboo can be grown sustainably without the use of pesticides and fertilisers due to its fast growth rate and protective coating. It can be harvested after just 3-5 years (compared to 10-20 years for many softwoods), making it a sustainable material that looks great and provides a durable finish for your kitchen space.
What Is High-Grade MDF?
If a natural wood finish is not what you want then MDF is a high grade, composite material that is perfect for wardrobes, kitchens and sideboards. It is made from recycled wood fibres and resin and is dried and pressed to produce dense, stable sheets that can then be made into the finished product. As a result, MDF does not warp or crack like wood and is also less expensive to manufacture and purchase as a result. Here at Noremax, we use high-quality MDF on products such as our Method InStyle storage unit to provide strong, durable and long-lasting product.
Regardless of the kitchen style that you are looking to design, you can be sure you will find your perfect fronts for your kitchen, sideboard or wardrobe when shopping with Noremax. For more information on how we can help you and to look at our range of styles, contact us today.
