IKEA kitchens are well known all over the world for it’s ability to adjust. No matter what size or shape your kitchen have, IKEA is great to plan the layout and floorplan. However, the selection of designs is limited. This is where Noremax comes into the picture. We offer a wide selection of expressions, suitable for your IKEA kitchens.
Noremax offers several different collections of products suitable for both IKEA Faktum kitchens, Faktum kitchens, Pax wardrobes and Bestå storage units. Whether you’re seeking a timber front, linoleum product or spraypainted fronts, we have got you covered! Now, we would like to introduce you to our newest addition to the Faktum collection – Skyline. What characterized the design is the slatted fronts, made of a pattern of vertical lines engraved into the surface.
The slatted fronts are designed for our Faktum collection and can be produced both in timber veneer, and solid MDF. The Skyline product is the primary design that can be produced and spray painted in any colour from Jotun, Farrow & Ball or NCS. However, Nordic Skyline can also be produced in full coverage paint, but also in natural timber vener. Read more about the Nordic Skyline product series here.
How to match the Skyline design
The slatted front design of Skyline is simple and elegance. The engraved vertical lines are 22,70 mm wide and placed on a 2,7mm distance from each other. The pattern is an array of shadow lines which is both discrete and engaging. The design is the perfect balance between decorative and minimalistic, so it works great in both modern and traditional interior design styles.
If your interior deisgn style is modern and contemporary, we suggest keeping this red thread throughout the entire home, this includes the kitchen. So, if you are looking for a modern look to complement with the Skyline design, we suggest you check out our Instyle product series. Instyle is a modern design with a sleek and integreated grip with runs along the entire front. The design is contemporary and made out of the same material as the Skyline fronts. This means that you can choose to either paint the two designs of fronts in the same colour and gloss, or different complementary colours. Either way, the material and finish will match and create perfect harmony.
Is your design style more industial? Then we have the perfect design combination for you! Choose to match your Skyline fronts with our other new collection – Pure. The Pure collection consists of several different designs, made of solid HDF. The HDF material comes in black, grey and light grey and the colour is solid. The finish of the fronts is more rough and it is perfect to combine the Pure Basic fronts with our Skyline design. We suggest ordering the Skyline fronts in a antracit colour to match with the HDF material for best result!
Adding handles or not?
The slatted fronts are handleless. For this type of kitchen fronts, you can use either the IKEA push/open system, where no handles are needed for a sleek and contemporary expression. However, if you want to minimize the touching of the fronts, it is a good idea to add external handles. So for that reason, Noremax offers a wide selection of handles.
Our selection contains handles of many different designs and materials. Is your kitchen designed in a minimalistic and modern style? Then check out our handles Hug or Hug Max. They come in two different sizes and several different finishes to make sure that you can match it with your interior. Are you looking for something more industrial? Then the Tire knob is a great alternative that adds attitude and expressiveness to the kitchen design.
